Relevance is so important now a days. With social media being the peep hole into the lives of one another, highlights reels of life and adventures are front and center. The same should be said for businesses as well. Most businesses come to me with the question I never get tired of hearing, What do we post on social media? It's important to share news, behind the scenes, employees and so much more. There are times where I myself have wanted to withdraw from social media life all together. MDMC Entertainment has been in existence since 2016 but these last 3 years we have been self sufficient on our own full time. Which is a huge feat but as social media shows we have a lot of eyeballs on us, but we lack the support. Which has made me want to retreat from social media all together. I think what has made me want to retreat is because we have such lack of support. I fully believe I have the greatest underdog story but in my mind everyone is watching to see if I fail. I refuse to fail. Social Media is a double edge sword and sometimes we need to be out there front and center to show what we are working on because you never know where your next lead is going to come from. I posted an old photo of me meeting the legendary Ric Flair on a Military Base and it got me a lead. While the road we walked on is paved with bumps and glory, we need to showcase all of it for people to see what we are capable of. So the answer of staying relevant is to constantly showcase your work and revel in your successes. Maybe the best way to find balance is with drawing your personal accounts activity and focus on your business highlight reel. Standing in the shadows means you are in fear and you can never let fear win. Stand tall and proud of your work and show it off in all corners of the internet.

Curious about growing your email list? Welcome to our blog because we have a couple of hacks for you. Before we dive in, let us explain what an email list is. An email list is one of many marketing channels a marketer can use as a tool to build their business. This list of emails is gathered from users interested in receiving communication or updates from that business. More data about our audience is amazing because it helps us understand them more. Now that we have the background information on email lists, how do we grow ours? One way is having a call to action, also known as a CTA. Making a clear call to action gives users a better idea of who you and your business are. Through your CTA, you’ll ask the audience to sign up for your mailing list. Most businesses have a Facebook page and this is where you can add your call to action. Make sure to include a link where they’ll click to go to your landing page. On your landing page, you can offer some incentives such as a giveaway or a discount. Incentives give your audience more reason to sign up for your email list. Another way is to go to outlets such as Quora. People flock to Quora regularly to ask questions. You can utilize this traffic by directing them toward your website. People interacting on your forums can help build your email list. To use Quora correctly, you should respond to questions and end your post by leaving the link to your landing page. If people visit your page and don’t immediately see an option to sign up for your newsletter, you may have lost them. Your landing page should have an obvious place to sign up for your email list. Using sites like Quora to get subscribers allows you to show your users that you’re not a bot. Instead, you're establishing that your business cares about your audience and likes to stay up to what's current. Linkedin is another way to operate social media and grow your email list! Some of the best ways to use Linkedin is to make connections. We recommend adding as many people as you can to start developing a following. From there, you’ll want to create useful content that people can take away from. You’ll direct your posts towards your target audience to stay authentic to your business. The articles you write should go along with what they should expect when they sign up for your newsletter. It's best to post these articles on your website's blog page and Linkedin. However, at the end of your post on Linkedin, you’ll mention to users that the article was originally posted on your website and give them the link to the original post. They’re not as likely to search for the article if you don’t give an easy way to access it. As you begin to grow on Linkedin, you’ll find that there are LinkedIn email finders. This is software that is specifically designed to find the email addresses of your audience's Linkedin profiles. Make sure to utilize this software and you'll watch your email list grow each day. Overall, there are many ways to grow your email list. The routes noted above are ways we have grown ours over the years. To sum it all up, consistency with Call to Actions, posting on Quora, and utilizing LinkedIn, are the best ways to get your email list started. We're excited to see you guys progress! |
