Relevance is so important now a days. With social media being the peep hole into the lives of one another, highlights reels of life and adventures are front and center. The same should be said for businesses as well. Most businesses come to me with the question I never get tired of hearing, What do we post on social media? It's important to share news, behind the scenes, employees and so much more. There are times where I myself have wanted to withdraw from social media life all together. MDMC Entertainment has been in existence since 2016 but these last 3 years we have been self sufficient on our own full time. Which is a huge feat but as social media shows we have a lot of eyeballs on us, but we lack the support. Which has made me want to retreat from social media all together. I think what has made me want to retreat is because we have such lack of support. I fully believe I have the greatest underdog story but in my mind everyone is watching to see if I fail. I refuse to fail. Social Media is a double edge sword and sometimes we need to be out there front and center to show what we are working on because you never know where your next lead is going to come from. I posted an old photo of me meeting the legendary Ric Flair on a Military Base and it got me a lead. While the road we walked on is paved with bumps and glory, we need to showcase all of it for people to see what we are capable of. So the answer of staying relevant is to constantly showcase your work and revel in your successes. Maybe the best way to find balance is with drawing your personal accounts activity and focus on your business highlight reel. Standing in the shadows means you are in fear and you can never let fear win. Stand tall and proud of your work and show it off in all corners of the internet.
